From Design to Field Performance
Most people don’t think about their building’s "envelope" until it fails. I’ve spent my career in the gap between how a building is designed on paper and how it actually performs in the wind and rain.
While performing investigations across the country, I’ve seen the same story play out dozens of times: a small oversight at a window transition or a rushed roofing detail leads to litigation, mold, and costly remediation. Jackson Envelope Consulting was founded to change that narrative.
With a background in design review, failure analysis, and hands-on field diagnostics, I specialize in identifying the 'why' behind a failure—and more importantly, how to prevent it before the drywall goes up.

I’ve worked across the residential and commercial sectors as a 3rd-party advocate for owners, developers, HOAs, contractors, and architects. Whether I’m using infrared thermography to map hidden moisture or conducting ASTM E1105 spray testing on a high-rise, my goal is absolute clarity.
In an industry where "good enough" is often the standard, I push for "built to last." I focus on the high-risk interfaces and penetrations where most buildings fail, ensuring that your project is watertight and performs exactly as intended.
